Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Personal on an available computer and run it.
You can download Windows Password Recovery Personal trial version ( to view the user list and attempt to add new user ) or after purchasing the software, download the full version ( to reset unknown password and add new user ) by a link from your email box, and then install it in any available computer. So you need another computer you have access to and a blank CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive.
Note: If you want to install Windows Password Rescuer in Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008, you'd better run installation program as administrator.

 

Step 2: Use Windows Password Personal to create a Windows password recovery disk with CD/DVD or USB Drive.

To create a CD/DVD Windows password recovery disk:

1. Insert a writable CD/DVD disc ( blank CD/DVD ).
2. Select Burn to CD/DVD option, and select the CD/DVD burn drive which you insert CD/DVD disc to.
3. Click Burn button to start burning.

To create a USB Windows password recovery disk:

1. Plug in a writable USB drive ( blank and at least 128M ).
2. Select Burn to USB option, and select the USB drive which you plug in USB drive to.
3. Click Burn button to start burning.

Step 3: Insert the newly Windows password recovery disk to your locked computer, boot the computer from CD/DVD or USB Drive.
To set your computer to boot from CD/DVD-ROM, refer to How to set computer to boot from CD/DVD-ROM.
To set your computer to boot from USB drive, refer to How to set computer to boot from USB Drive.

 

Step 4: Unlock Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 admin password by a few cliks.
1. After booting from CD/DVD or USB, Windows Password Rescuer Personal will start up and display a friendly window automatically.

 

2. Select a Windows system you want to recover its user password. All Windows system will be shown at combo box.

3. Select target user which you want to reset its password from the user list.

 

4. Click Reset Password button to reset user password, and then you can reset other users password as well.
Note: Windows Password Rescuer Personal will set the password as blank, you can log on without password.

5. After resetting password successfully, click Reboot button to restart your computer.

6. When following dialog pop up, eject Windows password recovery disk, and click Yes to restart.

Congratulations! After restarting, you can log on your windows without password.
